Golf 

Although México City is verdant and home to nine golf courses.  But there is not one golf club that openly welcomes visitors.  In fact, it is very difficult, though not impossible to play golf in México City.  Most of the courses do not even allow members of other clubs to enjoy their facilities. 

A few of the more exclusive hotels have arrangements with some of the courses that will allow their guests to play golf.  If you really want to play golf during your visit you may want to stay in a hotel that enjoys this privilege.  You will need to do some research on this subject as the hotels seem to change.  You may be able to approach the concierge, of one of these hotels, even if you are not a hotel guest, offer a tip and be able to get a tee time.  All things considered, I think it is best to forget golf, for the average tourist.

Tennis

Tennis players have more chances to practice their sport, but not a whole lot.  We found one club and two hotels that will allow outside guests to play for a fee, they are listed below.  The pleasant days and cool nights can make it very tempting to go out and play some tennis.  If you must play tennis, remember that the elevation in México is over 7000 feet and adjust your level of play accordingly.
